RES - RES
The Res-Res store is a sustainable lifestyle for women, men, children and their homes.
Res-Res is an abbreviation for Respect Resources and reflects the store's sustainable approach. Everything in the store is selected based on use, durability and consideration in production.
The store was established by Søren Sørensen and Lars Toft with the goal of changing the perception of seasonal fashion. It should be the user who decides whether they like the clothes or not, not industry-specific conventions about sales and overspending.
The store's focus is to extend the lifespan of resources that have already been used, which is why they are, among other things, a Nudie Jeans Repair Partner, which is why you can have all Nudie Jeans repaired for free.
The store is located on Guldbergsgade in Nørrebro in Copenhagen. See more here

Do you have any good advice if you want to have more sustainable consumption?
First of all, you should look at your consumption pattern, where can and should you cut back? You need to choose your consumption carefully and therefore it is good to know the profile of the stores you choose. The fashion industry is one of the most polluting industries in the world, and you might as well choose stores and brands that act responsibly.
It's good to look for local stores and webshops that have taken a stand. I can mention Langsamt, EcoEgo, GåGrøn, Be Aware, Purløg and Persille. Then there are those with a focus on secondhand and clothing sharing. It could be Kollektive Klædeskab, Resecond and Veras Market, all of which are good choices.
In our own store Res-Res we take a stand. Of course, it takes a lot more to achieve the goal of green transition, but we make an effort and constantly try to make the most responsible choices possible. It is important to us that we have a contemporary lifestyle range that is stylish and of good quality – while at the same time, we have the least possible impact on the environment.
Our goal is not to avoid consumption, but to contribute to reduced consumption. We do this, among other things, by having long-lasting products. We all need to understand that total consumption MUST decrease if it is to have the effect we want. It is not enough that we put “sustainable” first. We simply need to consume less all together.
