Certifications

Yrolí Skincare has made a conscious choice to be transparent. In order to meet our own strict requirements and to ensure the quality of our products, we have chosen to be certified by ECOCERT COSMOS. ECOCERT COSMOS is a pan-European certification of organic cosmetics. In addition, our products are Vegan certified and several of them are AllergyCertified.

Ecocert Cosmos Organic

 

 

ECOCERT COSMOS is a pan-European certification of organic cosmetics, which is used in more than 45 countries. There are different certifications including organic, natural and natural origin. Products certified as organic carry the ‘Organic’ label. On products labeled with ECOCERT COSMOS organic you can always read the percentage of natural and organic ingredients.
To obtain the ECOCERT COSMOS Organic label, at least 95% of the ingredients must be of natural origin. In addition, at least 10% of the ingredients in rinse-off products must be organic, and in leave-on products, at least 20% of the ingredients must be organic. Finally, at least 95% of the plant oils in the product must be organic. This means that oil-based products must have a higher proportion of organic ingredients than if the formulation contains water.

ECOCERT COSMOS also ensures that the ingredients are grown responsibly and with respect for the environment. At the same time, they have a strong focus on traceability. We must be able to document the journey of each ingredient and product from origin and production to the final product and its distribution. That way, you can be sure that you are getting the product we promised.

ECOCERT COSMOS also sets requirements for waste management during production. On our products you can find both the ECOCERT COSMOS seal and the proportion of natural and organic ingredients stated as a percentage.

AllergyCertified

 

 

AllergyCertified is an international certification organization founded in Denmark in 2015. When you choose products with the AllergyCertified logo, you can rest assured that a toxicologist has carefully reviewed every ingredient in the product and conducted a risk assessment.

AllergyCertified focuses on what can be potentially allergenic. Their specialty is, through knowledge and information, to help minimize the risk of contact allergies. Therefore, they analyze all ingredients in the given product and assess whether it contains anything that may be allergenic to you. This means that by choosing the AllergyCertified label on your products, you reduce the risk of allergic reactions.

 

Vegan

 

 

Certified Vegan means that the products do not contain animal ingredients, animal by-products or ingredients that have been tested on live animals. This ensures that we have not used ingredients such as beeswax and honey, and that no animal testing has been involved.

 

The Nordic Swan Ecolabel

 

 

Several of our products are about to be awarded the Nordic Ecolabel. They meet requirements for endocrine disruptors and other problematic chemicals. The Nordic Ecolabel aims to reduce the overall environmental impact from production and consumption, which we strongly support. The Nordic Ecolabel looks at the product's life cycle, which is why the product's journey and the environmental problems that arise along the way are evaluated. The goal is to protect our environment and the earth's resources.
