Due diligence obligation

DUE DILIGENCE OBLIGATION

Yrolí takes responsibility for the impact we have on people, the environment and society, both in our own operations and throughout our value chain. That is why we work in a structured and risk-based manner with due diligence as recommended by the UN Guiding Principles and the OECD Guidelines for Responsible Business Conduct.

The due diligence process covers matters related to human rights, labour rights, environmental and climate conditions and anti-corruption. We follow the six due diligence steps from Ethical Trade Denmark – from mapping and preventing risks to ensuring transparency, dialogue and access to grievance and remedy. We continuously assess whether our efforts are having the desired effect and communicate openly about our approach and experiences.

We seek to collaborate with suppliers and partners who share our approach and work in a risk-based manner in their own operations and value chain. The goal is not only to reduce negative impact, but to build stronger relationships, promote more responsible value chains and contribute to the change we ourselves wish to see in the world. For us, it is about doing the right thing – even when it is complex – and about continuously learning along the way.
