At Skovshoved Hotel & Restaurant you will find skincare products from Danish Yrolí. A company that was created in 2018 by Jette Nørgaard Haulrig & Trine-Lise Buestad-Kjeldsmark, and which is today a blue frontrunner. Their products are created from a desire to simplify your skincare routine, so that you use fewer and only the most essential products, but without compromising on the quality and effect of these.

Yrolí are frontrunners in the new sustainable beauty movement 'Blue Beauty', where the focus is particularly on developing products with safe, sustainable and ocean-friendly ingredients.

This means, among other things, that the ingredients in the products do not disrupt our natural environment, oceans & corals. Instead, they choose easily biodegradable ingredients that can enter nature's cycle without polluting our aquatic environment.

Accountability & transparency

Living up to Blue Beauty requires sharp choices and serious consideration of the many different aspects of the product cycle. Therefore, the responsible choices that Yrolí relies on extend far beyond ingredients, production, packaging, shipping, use and consumption, disposal and social commitment.

The products are all produced in Denmark and several of the ingredients are harvested in the wild Nordic nature. At Yrolí, it is a priority to avoid ingredients from vulnerable biotopes. And synthetic ingredients are only used where it is more ethical, environmentally friendly and safe.

To ensure traceability and credibility, Yrolí is both Ecocert Cosmos, AllergyCertified and Vegan certified. This means, for example, that users can trust that the content is actually organic and that the products have an incredibly high organic content.

Microalgae, Nordic berries & African fruits
The ingredients that make a difference

Trine-Lise & Jette carefully select their ingredients based on their quality and effect. This means, among other things, that the ingredients are 'wild harvest', organic and natural.

Yrolí's products include microalgae; a powerful antioxidant active that is both a collagen booster and at the same time protects the skin against oxidative stress and filters pollution particles both indoors and outdoors. In addition, Trine-Lise & Jette have chosen oils and extracts from Nordic berries (bilberry seed oil, raspberry seed oil and cloudberry extract) as some of the core ingredients in their products. The Nordic berries have an extremely high content of beneficial vitamins and essential fatty acids.

A third important ingredient in Yrolí's products is also the African seed oils; Marula and Baobab, which have been used by Africans for centuries for their health-promoting and skin-care properties.
