Gentle yoga
Today we have gentle yoga on the program. One of the reasons you feel so good after yoga is because of your fascia.
If you imagine that you are standing inside a balloon (the balloon = your fascia) that is a little too tight, then the space inside the body also feels cramped, almost as if you are being squeezed a little. When you do yoga, you help to lengthen your fascia and create the feeling of more space inside. This is equivalent to standing inside the balloon, reaching your arms towards the sky and moving your legs out to the side… Then more space automatically comes inside.
Today's gentle yoga class is open to everyone. You don't have to be flexible, young or fit... you just have to be willing to spend some time with yourself and your body. Maybe you'll even make it a little cozy around you, light a candle, turn off notifications on your phone (or turn it off completely). You'll need a firm sofa cushion/folded quilt and something nice/warm to lie on.

The yoga video itself lasts about 16 minutes. The rest of the time is just gentle music that you can use for relaxation.
More about yoga
Yoga is about union: the body with the head, you with the others you share yoga with (or with yourself). Maybe you with something bigger than you (nature, life, the universe). Yoga can be really good to do before meditation, to get the body moving and then calm down so the mind can follow.
You might imagine a bottle of sand and water. In a busy everyday life with overload on many fronts (information, social media, ads, impressions and tasks), the sand swirls around in the water, and visibility is low. When you do yoga and meditation, it is equivalent to letting the bottle sit still, after which the sand will slowly settle, and the water will once again appear clearer, and visibility increases.
Red thread for healthy skin
Fortunately, there is now more and more focus on the fact that the skin is also affected by how we feel (in body, emotions and mind). Therefore, it makes extra sense to set aside time for, for example, this gentle yoga class if you want to give your skin peace to work and be nourished from within.
When you lengthen your fascia, as you do with yoga, the tissue's elasticity, fullness, suppleness and moisture content increase – all of which can definitely be seen and felt in both the body and the skin. If you combine this with breathing, facial exercises and meditation, you have a really good foundation for healthy skin.

- Gentle yoga
All in all, a good hour where you can be generous for your own sake, your body's, and your skin's sake.
